Investigations Database:

The following is a database of the 76 (and counting!) locations we've filmed paranormal investigations at.
Our original investigation video is linked to each, along with its location, reported hauntings, and our own experiences, if any.

👻 = we strongly believe the location to be "haunted"

  1. Rotary Park
    1. Location: Rotary Park (Livonia, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: A serial killer is believed to have killed three girls in the woods surrounding the park, and their spirits are said to still linger
    3. Evidence Collected: EVP saying "EAST," "THE DEVIL"; spirit box saying "BEN," "DEATH," "HERE... FALL OFF THE BRIDGE!"
    4. Other Experiences: shortage of breath; shadow figure seen moving behind a tree
  2. Blood Cemetery
    1. Location: Blood Cemetery (Laingsburg, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: This is a wild one! The cemetery is named after the Blood family, which once owned the land. The last surviving Blood member, "Doctor Blood," is said to have killed his wife with an axe, then hanged himself on the large tree which now lies in the center of the cemetery.
    3. Evidence Collected: EVP saying "DON'T MOVE"; spirit box saying "RUN," "THANK YOU, BEN," "I DON'T LIKE" (in reference to investigators visiting the cemetery); 20 degree temperature increase at the same time the K2 Meter spiked
    4. Other Experiences: feeling of not being wanted at the cemetery
  3. Seven Gables Road
    1. Location: Seven Gables Road (Dansville, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: A witch is said to have cursed the land, and it is now known as "the most haunted road in Michigan." Legend states that if you hear a scream, you will die!
    3. Evidence Collected: spirit box saying "ALL BE CALM," "I AM EVIL"
  4. Priggooris Park
    1. Location: Priggooris Park (Bath, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: notorious serial killer Don Miller dumped one of his confirmed victims here at the park; and two young girls disappeared while camping along its trails, turning up dead one year later. A park employee told us "nine ghosts haunt the building" (we assume he's referring to the visiting center) and "two" haunt the park trails.
    3. Evidence Collected: EVP saying "WHO'S THAT?"; spirit box saying "HOLLOW," "I'M LOST," "THEY DID THIS TO ME... EVERYONE ELSE IS DEAD!"; EMF meter answered yes and no questions, indicating there was a spirit of a man that felt hunted
    4. Other Experiences: We returned to Priggooris Park with renowned psychic/medium Cat Ryan, who knew nothing about the location or our initial investigation. She picked up on and collaborated all of our experiences, right down to identifying the man who was being hunted.
  5. Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery
    1. Location: Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery (Jackson, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Here at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, "Little Mary's Grave" is one of Michigan's most talked about legends. After Mary was buried at age 8, her mother awoke to a dream of Mary being buried alive. Upon uncovering the casket, they discovered scratch marks on the inside, indicating Mary had attempted to claw her way out. Now, her grave and the surrounding area of the cemetery, is said to be one of the most haunted burial grounds in Michigan.
    3. Evidence Collected: For this investigation, we joined the Michigan State University Paranormal Society... and it was a large group of nearly 40 people. It was a quiet night, which we believed to be attributed to the amount of people present. This was confirmed by our own piece of evidence collected: a spirit box voice, after asking why it was so quiet, replied "TOO MANY PEOPLE."
  6. St. John Catholic Cemetery
    1. Location: St. John Catholic Cemetery (Jackson, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Also in Jackson, St. John Catholic Cemetery is another infamous Michigan legend. Victims of the Crouch farm murders are said to roam the cemetery at night, taking the form of misty apparitions and strange growls.
    3. Evidence Collected: Team members saw a light on the other end of the cemetery get blocked out, as if someone was passing in front of it; a few moments later, we all heard a loud scream or moan
    4. Other Experiences: Overwhelming feeling of sadness, and feeling of being watched
  7. Bath Memorial Park
    1. Location #1: Bath Memorial Park (Bath, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: The most deaths to occur in an American school-related incident happened here in mid-Michigan, when Andrew Kehoe planted a bomb under the Bath Consolidated School, killing 38 elementary school children, and 6 others... including his wife, his horses, and himself. A "suicide note" was discovered, merely stating "criminals are made, they're not born."
    3. Evidence Collected: Spirit box said "GOD I SEE," "THAT'S MY BROTHER," and "MY NAME'S HERMAN." Herman and his brother Henry both died in the bombing. Coincidentally, their graves are the only ones, out of all the victims, that have the wrong death date on their headstone. Could this be why they still feel "TRAPPED" at the site, as our Ouija session indicated?
    4. Other Experiences: An investigator saw a child-sized shadow pass behind a tree. When asked who that was, the spirit box said "THAT'S MY BROTHER."
    5. Location #2: Glendale Cemetery (Okemos, Michigan) 👻
    6. The Legend: We visited Glendale Cemetery to pay our respects to Herman and Henry Bergan, who are buried here. We didn't plan on investigating, but experienced so much activity that we returned... twice... for an investigation of this surprisingly creepy cemetery.
    7. Evidence Collected: We were not expecting this level of activity, especially for a location we had no intention of investigating. A creepy spirit box voice said "WE'RE DOMINANT," as well as "LEAVE" and "BE CAREFUL." FOOTSTEPS and SCRATCHING sounds were heard following us through the cemetery.
    8. Other Experiences: Feeling of being watched.
  8. Pink Bridge
    1. Location: Pink Bridge (Owosso, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Two lovers are said to have jumped off the top of this historic bridge... and to this day, their ghostly apparitions are seen at night.
    3. Evidence Collected: Tracks and power lines were causing EMF interference; and there were several houses in close proximity to the bridge. So for this investigation we were forced to rely on our senses, and visual phenomena. We didn't see or feel anything, but partially through the investigation, we heard a loud female scream. We don't think this was a ghost... confirmed a few moments later when a house alarm started going off, and sirens started blaring. We didn't feel safe, so we left the bridge, and found another location in Owosso to investigate:
  9. Curwood Castle
    1. Location: Curwood Castle (Owosso, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: An iconic historic structure that is said to contain three ghosts, seen in its windows and wandering the property late at night.
    3. Evidence Collected: We documented a few unexplained EMF spikes, but nothing to lead us to believe the property is haunted.
  10. Fran Leaf Park
    1. Location: Fran Leaf Park (Keego Harbor, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Locals say a child's ghost haunts this otherwise unassuming park in Keego Harbor, Michigan.
    3. Evidence Collected: Two years ago, Ben used a Ouija Board here for the first time. Now with a dozen investigations under his belt, and new equipment, he and the team returned to the park to determine the truth behind its rumored hauntings. No activity was documented.
  11. Michigan State University:
    1. Mary Mayo Hall (DEBUNKED)
      1. The Legend: The 4th floor of this dorm has been padlocked for over a decade, supposedly due to ouija board rituals that students used to do in the space. Today, a figure is seen in the 4th floor window, and the entities summoned there are said to still linger. In other areas of the building, a piano is said to play by itself, and a painting's eyes follow students.
      2. Evidence Collected: We got unprecedented permission to film and investigate the padlocked 4th floor. We quickly realized the reason it's locked: giant pipes make up most of the tight corridors, and are extremely hot and dangerous to touch. It is a safety concern for students to enter. We also discovered a trash can, filled with wrappers and utility supplies, as well as a working light. This proved that maintenance workers still check up on the space, and have been in recently... thus debunking the figure seen in the window as a "ghost."
    2. Baker Woodlot
      1. The Legend: Rumor mill states a witch coven uses these woods for rituals. We were unable to confirm or deny these rumors.
      2. Evidence Collected: We heard light footsteps coming from in the woods, but do not believe them to be paranormal.
    3. WJ Beal Botanical Garden
      1. The Legend: Students crossing through the garden at night get an eerie feeling; they also report hearing footsteps and voices follow them, although no one is there.
      2. Evidence Collected: This is the first of two locations on MSU campus where paranormal activity was documented. A growl sound was heard; and the spirit box said "SAVE ME... WATER!" The Red Cedar River runs parallel to the garden... could the spirit be that of a drowning victim?
    4. Beaumont Tower
      1. The Legend: Ghostly apparitions in period dress are said to roam the grounds of this historic MSU landmark.
      2. Evidence Collected: We were unable to document any paranormal activity during our two separate investigations of the tower.
    5. Wonders Hall
      1. The Legend: A mysterious and recent death in the basement of this dorm could be responsible for the recent increase of paranormal reports, which range from "orbs" to strange sounds and feelings.
      2. Evidence Collected: We were able to find documentation of the recent death, and as we discovered its potential cult ties (and rumors of being a murder, although labeled "suicide"), we started to believe these admittedly vague reports of paranormal activity. Nevertheless, we were unable to document any activity during our investigation.
    6. Saints Rest... bringing haunted doll to excavation site
      1. The Legend: Saints Rest was the first dormitory on campus, which burned down. No one died in the fire, but to this day, its grounds are said to be the most haunted area at MSU. Campus archaeology excavated the site in 2005, and found a doll's head. A psychic touring MSU insisted a spirit was attached to the doll; since its excavation, paranormal activity has spiked at both the Saints Rest grounds, and the archaeology lab where it now resides. Coincidence? Or is the doll truly possessed?
      2. Evidence Collected: We decided to do an experiment for this investigation. We bought a "haunted" doll on eBay, and on the anniversary of the 2005 excavation, brought it to Saints Rest. Mysterious scratch marks appeared on a team member; and the same voice came through the spirit box, each time simply saying "HELLO"; a child singing was also documented.
  12. Riverside Cemetery
    1. Location: Riverside Cemetery (Okemos, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: This is a cemetery we always drive past, hidden on a hilltop beside a golf course. Although there are no documented reports of paranormal activity at the cemetery, a local police officer told us the cemetery gives him the creeps.
    3. Evidence Collected: We decided to conduct an experiment: a solo, blindfolded investigation in the dead center of the cemetery. Although no activity was documented, and the cemetery felt calm and peaceful, faint rustling/footsteps initially peaked our interest, but were quickly dismissed as mere leaves blowing in the wind.
  13. Rosevear Park
    1. Location: Rosevear Park (Owosso, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: In the '80s, Satanic worship and rituals were conducted in the woods surrounding Rotary Park. They are said to have conjured an evil "creature" that still resides in the woods, and haunts the land.
    3. Evidence Collected: Oh boy. This was our first... intense... investigation, for lack of better words. A loud crash startled us; a team member getting pushed sent us running; scratch marks appearing on her arm sent chills down our spine; and a voice came through on the spirit box saying "I KNOW IT'S EVIL." And this was all just on the road adjacent to the woods... it would take another investigation a year later for us to actually enter the woods themselves. Upon entering, we found trees marked with upside down crosses and Satanic markings; heard screams; and captured a female voice twice on our recorder, which we didn't hear in the moment.
    4. Other Experiences: The feeling of dread; cold spots that seemed to appear and disappear.
  14. Abandoned mill in Grand Ledge
    1. Location: Grand Ledge, Michigan
    2. The Legend: A discussion forum indicated that an open field, and site of what was once an abandoned mill in Grand Ledge, Michigan is said to be haunted by an oppressive entity.
    3. Evidence Collected: This one caught us off guard. The K2 spiked unexplainably, and every time it did, our flashlight would go out. After a few K2 spikes, three distinct voices came through the spirit box, seemingly having a conversation about the K2 interaction: "IT'S HAPPENING," said one... then "I KNOW" said another... and finally, "UNBELIEVABLE!"
    4. Other Experiences: Feelings of nausea; a team member felt touched on her shoulder.
  15. St. Joseph Cemetery
    1. Location: Saint Joseph Cemetery (Lansing, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Especially following rather intense investigations, we sometimes like to go to a local cemetery, regardless of if it's supposedly "haunted," to test new equipment or to serve as a baseline.
    3. Evidence Collected: It was a particularly quiet night... although the spirit box did appear to say "PLEASE STOP" after Ryan began singing. Admittedly, his singing was the scariest part of the investigation...
  16. Cedar Point Amusement Park
    1. Location: Cedar Point Amusement Park (Sandusky, Ohio)
    2. The Legend: Legend states that the Muller Carousel Horse on display in the park's museum is "possessed"... and that the spirit attached to the horse prevents clear pictures of it being taken. Apparitions and orbs of light have been seen on and around the carousel horse.
    3. Evidence Collected: We didn't document any paranormal activity, though we did quickly debunk any reports of "orbs" in the area, as the lights directly above the horse create peculiar lens flares if taken at the right angle.
  17. Jackson State Prison
    1. Location: Jackson State Prison (Jackson, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: The original stone watchtowers, gate, and courtyard of Michigan's first state prison still stand. You can stroll through the area, open to the public, and soak in its incredible history. But with its storied history comes decades of "paranormal" occurrences reported at the prison remains. Unexplained music and growls have been heard in the courtyard, and apparitions have been seen in and around the old watchtowers.
    3. Evidence Collected: A team member received unexplained scratch marks on his stomach; a motion activated light unexplainably got triggered. Neither incident are definitive evidence, or can be labeled as undoubtedly "paranormal."
  18. The Burning Bed site
    1. Location: Dansville, Michigan
    2. The Legend: In Dansville, Michigan, the foundations of the infamous "Burning Bed" home lie in the middle of an otherwise unassuming neighborhood. This home, which burned down, was sight to one of the worst domestic violence cases in history, and it was a truly tragic and heartbreaking investigation for us. We investigated with respect, and in our investigation video, ended with the domestic violence hotline, which we are going to include here as well. We feel it is important to include it every time we mention this case: 1-800-799-7233
    3. Evidence Collected: This was a technically difficult case. It was an extremely windy night... extremely... which impacted our ability to capture audio evidence. And, we were in the middle of a neighborhood, so shining bright lights was not an option, limiting our ability to effectively scan the area for visual anomalies. Nevertheless, we were able to conduct and document a spirit box session, which yielded interesting results. A female voice said "NOTHING" when asked what she has to say; and we captured the voice "GO!... NEIGHBORS!" right before a neighboring house turned on their lights and started watching us. We asked if this was what it was talking about, and a booming voice said "YEAH!" We decided to end our investigation as to avoid the risk of disturbing this neighbor.
    4. Other Experiences: A team member felt something "touch his toe."
  19. Geeck Road
    1. Location: Geeck Road (Durand, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Legend states a giant ball of fire is seen while driving down this road, disappearing right before engulfing your car in flames!
    3. Evidence Collected: We couldn't help but sing "Great Balls of Fire" the entire investigation... but unfortunately nothing told us to "PLEASE STOP" this time. We were unable to see any balls of fire, or anything remotely out of the ordinary for that matter.
  20. Eaton County Courthouse
    1. Location: Eaton County Courthouse (Eaton County, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Apparitions and disembodied voices have been experienced at this historic courthouse-turned-museum.
    3. Evidence Collected: We captured our longest spirit box voice ever; unexplained EMF spikes in its "haunted" bathroom; unexplained GROWL sounds.
  21. Site of bizarre Jackson, Michigan murder
    1. Location: Jackson, Michigan
    2. The Legend: We investigated the site of perhaps Michigan's strangest true crime cases. In 1999, Kevin Artz killed his wife and baked her into a pizza... here in Jackson, Michigan. Some locals say the stretch of road where the murder happened is haunted.
    3. Evidence Collected: A man's voice came through the spirit box multiple times, each time simply saying "I'M DEAD!" This doesn't appear to be tied to the murder, as Artz is still alive and serving life in prison.
  22. Washington Park
    1. Location: Washington Park (Lansing, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: We had a big investigation coming up... so we decided to take it easy and schedule a "fun" one first. Although there are no documented reports coming from this park, we drove past it one night and saw a "creepy" man standing still under a flickering street light. We knew this was probably just a person, and a faulty lightbulb, but we decided to investigate the park anyway. Who knows? Maybe it could be haunted...
    3. Evidence Collected: We were unable to document any paranormal activity. But this investigation did help demonstrate the accuracy of our equipment; the spirit box was pure static, and the EMF readers did not give off any false positives.
  23. Site of Kerns Hotel fire
    1. Location: Wentworth Park (Lansing, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: The greatest loss of life disaster in Lansing history was when the Kerns hotel tragically burned down in 1934. Now a park, and site of a historical marker dedicated to the disaster, phantom moans and screams are often reported coming from the area, and apparitions are seen.
    3. Evidence Collected: Besides a few faint spirit box voices, we were unable to document paranormal activity at the site.
  24. Soop Cemetery / Old Denton Road
    1. Location: Soop Cemetery (Belleville, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: This is our favorite location. Ever. We've been here seven times... five of which were on camera... and something strange happens every time, without fail. It is said Elizabeth Soop, a supposed "witch" buried in the cemetery is responsible for the activity. Most commonly reported occurrences are shadow figures, feelings of dread, and unexplained whispers following you throughout the cemetery. The eerie road in which the cemetery sits is also believed to be a "portal" according to several local psychics.
    3. Evidence Collected: This is a long list... get ready! In our four investigation videos of the cemetery, we have documented: a shadow figure on camera at the same time we heard a loud HISS; equipment malfunctions; we found the remains of what a demonologist later told us appeared to be a voodoo hoodoo ritual atop Elizabeth Soop's grave (there were even what appeared to be cow bones on the grave, as well as strange "offerings"); a disembodied female voice caught on camera; a SCREAM caught during a live stream; and much, much more. See our investigation videos, or visit the cemetery for yourself, to get a sense of this eerie haunted hotspot!
    4. Other Experiences: Feelings of being watched.
  25. Alvah N. Belding Library
    1. Location: Alvah N. Belding Library (Belding, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: This 100 year old library in Belding, Michigan is said to be one of the state's most haunted. A child's ghost, unexplained voices, and feelings of being watched are all experienced by both visitors and employees alike. When the Grand Rapids Ghost Hunters investigated the property, they caught several clear EVP's, including a loud WHISTLE that happened right between two team members.
    3. Evidence Collected: This one genuinely surprised us. We caught our first definitive audio evidence: we heard and captured a disembodied female voice coming from the other end of the room, and later caught a disembodied BREATH coming from right between us.
    4. Other Experiences: Feelings of unease; an investigator thought she heard a whisper say "STOP!" in her ear, startling her... returning to this spot, we captured the disembodied breath.
  26. Stimson Hospital
    1. Location: Stimson Hospital (Eaton Rapids, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: Renowned doctor Frances Blanchard fell to his death from an elevator shaft in this former hospital's third floor. It is now said that its former morgue, as well as second floor hospital rooms, are haunted by multiple "angry" and aggressive forces, manifesting in the forms of shadows and strange growls and voices. The hospital is currently being renovated as a haunted Bed and Breakfast.
    3. Evidence Collected: We've investigated the hospital three times, twice on our own and a third time for a special collaborative livestream on Doctor Blanchard's birthday. On both our second and third visits, we heard a loud GROWL on the second floor; a disembodied voice captured in the basement; unexplained FOOTSTEPS; an EVP saying "HELP"; spirit box voices saying "HOSPITAL," "GO TO THE MORGUE, and "CAN'T STOP"
    4. Other Experiences: An investigator saw a white apparition; multiple investigators felt intense rage, and had to stop investigating; our equipment got unexplainably unplugged from a basement outlet.
  27. Tyler Cemetery
    1. Location: Tyler Cemetery (Belleville, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Legends abound at this creepy Belleville cemetery. A "lady in white" is said to haunt its grounds... and even follow your car out of the cemetery if you dare disturb her!
    3. Evidence Collected: It was a relatively calm night, although the spirit box unexplainably turned on by itself, and in the static, we heard an incomprehensible phrase come through. We also thought we heard humming, but it could have been the geese on the outskirts of the cemetery.
  28. Bone Heads BBQ
    1. Location: Bone Heads BBQ (Willis, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: A playful poltergeist is said to haunt this well-known Michigan restaurant. Its ghost stories are even printed on its menu!
    3. Evidence Collected: With the manager's permission, we were allowed to film an investigation of the restaurant after it closed. We were unable to capture any activity... although we couldn't disprove any of its reports either. This case remains OPEN.
  29. Abandoned Octagon House
    1. Location: The Octagon House (Dansville, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Now abandoned in Dansville, this home is one of the last of its kind in Michigan. Its shape is of an octagon, and it is said to have been a stop along the Underground Railroad. Though it's abandoned, and dangerous to enter, people see apparitions in its windows and hear voices and noises coming from inside.
    3. Evidence Collected: It is too unsafe to enter the home, although the owners gave us permission to film on the grounds of the property. We heard an unexplained KNOCK coming from the home's door; and tried the "Estes method" with spirit box, which yielded interesting results.
    4. Other Experiences: feelings of lightheadedness right before we heard the KNOCK.
  30. Blood Road
    1. Location: Blood Road (Metamora, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: Legend states this eerily named "Blood Road" is made of just that: blood. Supposedly, satanists and covens meet along the road to summon demonic forces. People have been ran off the road by people in robes; witnesses have seen ghostly figures rising from the swamps alongside the road; and a general unease is often reported, as well as mysterious car troubles.
    3. Evidence Collected: This just might be the most haunted road in all of Michigan. We found pentagrams and ritualistic symbols on several trees, confirming that these practices may be conducted here. We caught a spirit box voice that said "BEHIND YOU"; a team member saw a white figure pass behind a tree; and we all saw an unexplained light alongside the road.
  31. Adrian’s Trestle Bridge
    1. Location: The "Ghost" Trestle (Adrian, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: One of our followers, and fellow YouTuber RyanCoolVids captured a terrifying shadow figure here at Adrian, Michigan's aptly named "Ghost" Trestle. It is said the ghost of a farmer haunts this eerie bridge, so we visited to see if we can witness its elusive spirit firsthand.
    3. Evidence Collected: Though we didn't see or capture any visual anomalies, we documented unexplained EMF fluctuations that appeared to be intelligent. Combined with the palpable eeriness of the location, this case remains OPEN.
    4. Other Experiences: Off camera, a team member heard what she described as a loud COUGH right behind her, although she was completely alone under the bridge.
  32. Belleville Area Museum
    1. Location: Belleville Area Museum (Belleville, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: Belleville is one of our favorite towns in Michigan. We previously investigated its supposedly haunted cemeteries, Tyler and Soop (the latter of which is our favorite haunted hotspot ever)... and now we're back to investigate its museum. Previous investigators have caught full bodied apparitions in the museum's basement, which used to be a jail. Cold spots and voices are also often experienced and documented.
    3. Evidence Collected: This was a unique investigation. The spirit box said "TURN AROUND," and when we did, we saw that a lamp by the museum's entrance had turned on by itself. It then proceeded to turn on and off on command, seemingly answering our questions. We tested the bulb, and it was screwed in all the way... the lamp itself was not motion activated and did not appear faulty... and vibrations would not turn it on no matter how hard we tried.
    4. Other Experiences: Alone in the former jail cell, a team member felt lightheaded and sharp stomach pains.
  33. Site of Michigan’s “Lizzie Borden” murders
    1. Location: Williamston, Michigan 👻
    2. The Legend: This small stretch of road along the railroad tracks in Williamston, Michigan was site to one of the state's most gruesome murders. In fact, it's been compared to the infamous "Lizzie Borden killings." Researched and documented by author Rod Sadler, and detailed in his book "To Hell I Must Go," the site of this disturbing case is a featured stop along the Demented Mitten Tours.
    3. To learn more about "To Hell I Must Go": https://www.amazon.com/Hell-Must-Go-Michigans-Lizzie/dp/1478751037
    4. Evidence Collected: Unexplained FOOTSTEPS were heard, and while debating if it were paranormal, a voice chimes in on the spirit box, loudly exclaiming "IT WAS PARANORMAL!"
  34. "Luke the Spook"
    1. Location: Romeo, Michigan
    2. The Legend: It is said that a bridge along Romeo Plank Road is "haunted" by a troll-like creature nicknamed "Luke the Spook." The reports are vague, but the stories go back generations. Is it just a creepy campfire story, or could there actually be an entity haunting this bridge?
    3. Evidence Collected: No evidence was collected. Nothing was seen, heard, or felt.
  35. The “Michigan Murders” site
    1. Location #1: Geddes Road (Ypsilanti, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: For this special 2-part investigation, we follow the footsteps of Michigan's most notorious serial killer: John Norman Collins, also known as the "Michigan Murderer." Called the "Ted Bundy before Ted Bunny," his first victim Mary was dumped, and discovered, along an eerie stretch of road in Ypsilanti. Coincidentally, this same stretch of road is shot to dozens of paranormal legends, most frequently an elusive woman in white that appears "distressed." Could this be connected to the murders? We investigate 50 years to the day Mary's body was discovered.
    3. Evidence Collected: A loud, long SCREAM was heard, and a voice saying "PANICKING" was captured on spirit box; none of the Polaroid photos taken along the road would develop... even though other photos taken on the same night, with the same roll of film, at different locations did.
    4. Other Experiences: Intense unnerving feeling.
    5. Location #2: Denton Cemetery (Denton, Michigan)
    6. The Legend: Another victim was dumped at Denton Cemetery.
    7. Evidence Collected: No evidence was collected.
  36. Fallasburg Covered Bridge
    1. Location: Fallasburg Covered Bridge (Fallasburg, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: This historic Michigan landmark is said to be a literal bridge to the other side... with decades of rumors and legends attached to it, including a floating apparition and phantom voices.
    3. Evidence Collected: We were joined by Kent County Paranormal for this iconic investigation. Unfortunately, we were unable to document definitive paranormal activity at the site.
  37. The Ada Witch legend
    1. Location #1: Seidman Park (Ada, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: One of Michigan's most famous legends takes place in the small town of Ada. The dubbed "Ada Witch" supposedly roams its streets, albeit making its presence most known at two haunted "hotspots" in town. The first is Seidman Park, where it is said her body was dumped after a love triangle gone wrong resulted in her murder. This is all mere legend, as no such story has been documented or proven to happen.
    3. Evidence Collected: We were joined by Kent County Paranormal for this surprisingly active investigation. We never aim to sensationalize a legend, and often, legends as hyped and discussed as this one yield little actual activity. This was not the case. We heard an audible, disembodied MOAN; heard FOOTSTEPS follow us through the park; and a female voice repeatedly came through the spirit box, ultimately getting quite sarcastic with us, saying clear as day "I'M UP YOUR ASSH*LE" when asked where she is.
    4. Location #2: Findlay Cemetery (Ada, Michigan) 👻
    5. The Legend: This cemetery is said to be where the "Ada Witch" is buried. Clearly, this is not the case... as no such woman depicted in the legend actually existed. Still, this continues to be one of the most talked about "haunted" cemeteries in Michigan. Legend states that at midnight on a full moon, the Ada Witch will appear in the form of a woman in white.
    6. Evidence Collected: Our investigation was coincidentally on a full moon... and we staked out the cemetery at midnight. We were joined by a local family who grew up with the legend, and wanted to see once and for all if they were grounded in any truth. At exactly midnight, the family's young children panicked after seeing what they could only describe as a "mist"... and the family promptly left, as the children were terrified. We investigated the area they saw the mist, and the thermal camera's battery kept draining, only to climb back up to full battery. We then heard LOUD FOOTSTEPS stomping around us, circling us. This was captured clearly on audio... but we were able to see on the thermal camera that no person or animal was around us.
    7. Other Experiences: An investigator claimed to see a white flash of light in the woods surrounding the cemetery.
  38. Turner-Dodge House
    1. Location: The Turner-Dodge House (Lansing, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: This is one of the most historic properties in Lansing, as it was built by some of the capital city's original pioneers. Today, it is a historic (and haunted?) landmark and museum. Reports include poltergeist activity, strange feelings, and mysterious singing and bells emanating from the building's empty rooms.
    3. Evidence Collected: We conducted a spirit box session using the "Estes Method" and captured a few interesting responses... but nothing definitive.
    4. Other Experiences: An investigator reported slight dizziness and lightheadedness in a third floor maid corridor.
  39. John Taylor Memorial Park
    1. Location: John Taylor Memorial Park (Holt, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: John Taylor Memorial Park, formerly known as the problematic "Deadman's Hill," was the site of Ingham County's only lynching, of namesake John Taylor. This controversial event, propelled by the controversial naming of "Deadman's Hill," has resulted in a slew of paranormal activity reported at the site, which is now a sledding hill.
    3. Evidence Collected: Faint footsteps were heard, but we can't count them as paranormal, as they could have been the result of animals or other outdoor contamination; when addressing John Taylor, asking how it feels to have his lynching site be a sledding hill, a loud voice came through the spirit box saying "IT'S ROTTEN!" Rotten indeed.
  40. E Buno Road
    1. Location #1: E Buno Road (Milford, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: We follow the footsteps of another Michigan serial killer. This time, we visit an eerie stretch of road where infamous killer Leslie Allen Williams dumped at least one of his victims that he raped and killed. Shadow figures and glowing red eyes are now reported along the road.
    3. Evidence Collected: We were unable to document any paranormal activity.
    4. Location #2: Central Park (Milford, Michigan)
    5. The Legend: Another site connected to Leslie Allen Williams, some sources claim that Central Park in downtown Milford is "cursed."
    6. Evidence Collected: We filmed a portion of our short documentary "Michigan Killers" at the park. Although we weren't investigating, and didn't have any equipment with us, we felt extremely uneasy the entire time we were there. This is definitely a spot worth returning for a proper investigation.
  41. Oak Park
    1. Location: Oak Park (Charlotte, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: A small, unassuming neighborhood playground in Charlotte has a dark side. It used to be the city's cemetery... until "all" the graves got moved to a newer, larger cemetery on the edge of town. Those quotes were intentional... and you can probably see where this is going. Not all the graves were moved, meaning there are likely still bodies, and parts of bodies, buried under this playground. This is an obvious explanation for the rampant paranormal activity reported there at night. But is it really haunted?
    3. Evidence Collected: Why is it always the times we least expect it that crazy things happen? From intelligent spirit box voices to hearing loud FOOTSTEPS, faint whispers to an investigator seeing a shadow figure... this was an investigation to remember.
    4. Other Experiences: An investigator had a string of bad luck follow her after this investigation. Coincidence?
  42. Bay City Masonic Temple
    1. Location: The Masonic Temple (Bay City, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: The abandoned Masonic Temple in Bay City is currently being renovated... and we had the distinct honor of investigating both its hauntings, and its undocumented history. That's right. There's a hidden passageway underneath a staircase leading to the main temple's organ... and we were the first people to explore it since at least the 1930's. We discovered old sheet music and bible passages from the '30s, making this one of our most memorable investigation moments ever.
    3. Evidence Collected: Disembodied voice saying "BEN!"; disembodied GROAN; EVP of FEMALE VOICE; unexplained camera battery drainage.
    4. Other Experiences: Unexplained "bad" feelings in the basement, which we could not attribute to high electromagnetic fields, or any other explainable cause.
  43. Eloise Asylum
    1. Location: Eloise Asylum (Westland, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: When asked what my favorite investigation has been, I always say this one. Not only is it one of Michigan's most iconic haunted hotspots (recently featured on Travel Channel's "Destination FEAR"), it lives up to its reputation.
    3. Evidence Collected: We captured one of our only visual anomalies ever: a MISTY FORM appears as I whip my camera behind me, where I felt something rush up on me just moments before. This is the same area an employee reported getting pushed, and a knife was thrown at her. We also captured several intelligent SPIRIT BOX VOICES; a FLASHLIGHT turned on and off on command; a disembodied FEMALE SCREAM; and an EVP was recorded saying "Ben... Where's Sarah?" My name is Ben...
    4. Other Experiences: An investigator got overwhelmingly sick and dizzy on the third floor, and had to excuse herself from the investigation.
  44. Lakeside Cemetery
    1. Location #1: The American Museum of Magic (Marshall, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Harry Houdini died in Detroit, on Halloween of 1926. Every year since, a seance has been performed at the American Museum of Magic to try and speak with the deceased magician. A tradition started by his wife, Houdini's spirit has never come through during a seance. But maybe that's because they're conducted in the wrong place...
    3. Location #2: Lakeside Cemetery (Colon, Michigan)
    4. The Legend: Nearby, the small town of Colon is known as the "magic capital of the world." Lakeside Cemetery, also known as "The Magician's Cemetery," is the final resting place for many renowned magicians. Although Houdini himself isn't buried there, his spirit is more likely to still reside in the magic capital than the museum.
    5. Evidence Collected: No responses came through during our Ouija Board seance, though we did hear footsteps behind us. Being an outdoor location, we are not labelling this paranormal, as there are too many variables and possible contamination that could explain away the sound.
  45. Ledges Playhouse
    1. Location: Ledges Playhouse (Grand Ledge, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: To learn more about spiritualism, we visited the Ledges Playhouse, originally built as a spiritualist camp. Though we didn't investigate the structure, the beautiful and historic property is a highly recommended visit, if just for the history alone.
  46. Machpelah Cemetery
    1. Location: Machpelah Cemetery (Ferndale, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Ben is joined not by the regular team, but by his own family, for this personal investigation. His grandparents are buried at this supposedly haunted cemetery. Bells and voices are heard, and an apparition is seen roaming the cemetery.
    3. Evidence Collected: Unexplained EMF spikes; Lisa feels a cold chill, and the spirit box immediately reassures her "YOU'LL BE ALRIGHT."
  47. Henderson Castle
    1. Location: Henderson Castle (Kalamazoo, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: This is one of Michigan's most historic, and supposedly haunted, structures. The ghosts of its original owners, Frank and Mary Henderson, are still said to roam the beautiful castle. Ghosts or not, this is one of the most breathtaking locations we've been, both architecturally and historically... a tour is highly recommended!
    3. Evidence Collected: Though no definitive evidence was collected, Ben experienced feeling his backpack get tugged on.
  48. The Yellow Motel
    1. Location: The abandoned "Yellow Motel" (Allegan County, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Once a supposed hangout for Al Capone, the grounds of the now-demolished "Yellow Motel" is still said to be haunted by the notorious gangster's victims.
    3. Evidence Collected: The EMF meter turned on by itself, and immediately started spiking.
    4. Other Experiences: We thought we heard faint whispering, but were unable to capture it on camera.
  49. Dice Road
    1. Location: Dice Road Cemetery (Saginaw County, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Commonly known as the first documented ghost story in Michigan, this is by far the state's most researched, and well-known hauntings. We're going to link up this in-depth article of its legend, because it's so well researched and articulated that we can't compete: https://www.review-mag.com/article/urban-legends-the-ghost-of-anna-rhodes-the-haunting-of-dice-road-cemetery
    3. Evidence Collected: A loud GROWL was heard, and captured on camera.
  50. The “Troll Bridge”
    1. Location: Troll Bridge (Saline, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: It is said a 7 foot hairy troll has cursed this bridge! Obviously, this isn't true. There is no 7 foot creature residing there. But the fact remains that very real and very intense paranormal activity has been reported at the eerie bridge. Reports most frequently include strange feelings, and apparitions on the side of the road leading to the bridge.
    3. Evidence Collected: Unexplained cold spots; unexplained EMF spikes; unexplained technical difficulties (spirit box wouldn't turn on... but only while on the bridge)
    4. Other Experiences: A strong unnerving feeling, and sense of deja vu.
  51. G.A.R. Memorial Hall & Museum
    1. Location: G.A.R. Memorial Hall & Museum (Eaton Rapids, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Joined by the Michigan State University Paranormal Society (MSUPS), we had the distinct honor of investigating the historic Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Hall & Museum. The organization was created by the Union Veterans of the Civil War. The 2-story structure that the museum currently resides in is completely original, dating back to 1866, when it served as a location for the Grand Army of the Republic, as well as the Michigan Department of Woman's Relief Corps. Today, the museum is on the Register of National Historic Places, and is the only museum in Michigan dedicated to the memory of the Union Veterans of the Civil War.
    3. Evidence Collected: A cold spot visibly appeared on the FLIR camera... on command; the spirit box said "YOU KNOW ME"; an unexplained female voice heard.
  52. Dunn’s Tomb
    1. Location: Lakeville Cemetery (Lake Orion, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: This is one of Michigan's most talked-about legends, and it centers around Dunn's Tomb, hidden in a hillside of Lakeville Cemetery. Supposedly, a teenager trapped in the tomb had such intense paranormal activity happen, that she died while trying to claw her way out. It is now rumored that if you go to the cemetery in a black car (which we did) and touch the tomb (which we did), her apparition will appear (which it didn't).
    3. Evidence Collected: A disembodied voice was captured on camera, but not heard in the moment.
    4. Other Experiences: While meditating, an investigator got the strong vision of an African American male.
  53. Warlock Willie's grave
    1. Location: The abandoned grave of "Warlock Willie" (Dexter, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: The abandoned, long-overgrown Old Scio Cemetery is infamous for its "Warlock Willie" legend. Supposedly, if you lie in the Warlock's grave, his spirit will pass through you, and you will both see, hear, and feel his evil presence.
    3. Evidence Collected: We recorded our most impressive EMF evidence to date: it spiked and stopped on command, for the longest we've ever been able document. The spirit box said "WORSHIP," "JOHN," "I'M DEAD," and "YOU SHOULD LEAVE."
    4. Other Experiences: Unexplained feelings of "heaviness," as well as being watched.
  54. Oakdale Cemetery
    1. Location: Oakdale Cemetery (Lapeer, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: This investigation couldn't be more relevant. Once the Michigan Home for the Feeble Minded and Epileptic, all that remains of this sprawling village and institution is its cemetery... unnamed and unlisted on all maps, both local and online. The history touches on themes of quarantine, communal life, identity, and isolation, which is something we are all thinking about right now, in the midst of the novel coronavirus pandemic. After multiple attempts to find the hidden cemetery, deep in the woods, we finally found it... and little did we know this would be one of our most intense investigations to date.
    3. Evidence Collected: Two female disembodied voices were captured on camera; unexplained FOOTSTEPS heard and captured.
    4. Other Experiences: Faint whispering was heard (but not captured); all of us felt some of the strangest, most potent "feelings" ever on an investigation... and we don't "feel" things often. We didn't feel welcome there at all, which was a sensation we could not explain.
  55. The Pink Palace
    1. Location: Pink Palace (Chelsea, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: The infamous "Pink Palace" in Chelsea is now demolished, and all that remains today are its original stone pillars, still accessible on the side of an eerie dirt road. Though no longer standing, the land is still supposedly haunted. Many reports online claim that original home was "cursed," and that to this day, glowing red eyes, dark shadows, and strange noises are heard by thrill seekers and investigators that visit the area.
    3. Evidence Collected: Female voice heard three times through the spirit box; footsteps heard; CRASH sound heard right behind us, but nothing was on the ground.
    4. Other Experiences: In a disturbing coincidence (note: NOT paranormal, just weird), we found a dead rabbit bleeding out in the exact center of the two pillars. The rabbit appeared to be domesticated, but this was only weird to us because of its placement, being literally exactly between the pillars, and not on the road itself.
  56. Old Quaker Cemetery
    1. Location: Old Quaker Cemetery (Nashville, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: This forgotten old Quaker cemetery is one of the most historic in all of Michigan. Among its burials is a soldier who marched with George Washington, whose spirit is said to manifest, aiming a gun at you, before disappearing. Voices and shadows are also reported.
    3. Evidence Collected: Disembodied female voice heard; clear EVP saying "COME HERE"; various voices captured on spirit box, including one saying investigator Ben's name
    4. Other Experiences: Black shadow mass was seen; feeling of anxiety reported by some investigators
  57. Benton Township Cemetery
    1. Location: Benton Township Cemetery (Potterville, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: Reputable investigators have visited the cemetery in the past, pinpointing one particular plot as having the most activity. According to these past investigations, the Hickox family needs "help" crossing over, and is stuck in the cemetery.
    3. Evidence Collected: We captured incredible evidence at the Hickox plot, with both our spirit box and EMF detector responding and spiking in sync. Watch our investigation, linked above, to see this incredible interaction.
  58. The Witch’s Ball
    1. Location: Memphis Cemetery (the "Witch's Ball") [Memphis, Michigan] 👻
    2. The Legend: A large sphere above an otherwise unassuming grave is host to numerous legends. Dubbed the "Witch's Ball," it is said if you look into the sphere, apparitions and dark shadows will appear behind you, and voices will lure you deeper into cemetery and into the woods behind it.
    3. Evidence Collected: This was our only investigation in over 3 years that we could not finish. It just got too intense. We captured tons of EVP's... way too many to count; heard a loud SCREAM; the smell of formaldehyde appeared out of nowhere and then vanished after just 45 seconds or so
    4. Other Experiences: Strange feelings; out of body experiences; camera battery drainage and malfunctions
  59. Mountain Home Cemetery
    1. Location: Mountain Home Cemetery (Kalamazoo, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: A viewer wrote us saying that the cemetery directly across from the Henderson Castle is said to be haunted.
    3. Evidence Collected: The same male voice came through the spirit box multiple times, telling us "I'M HERE," "BE PATIENT," and "IT'S DANGEROUS." Could it have been Frank Henderson, who built the castle?
  60. Hatchet Man Road
    1. Location: Hatchet Man Road (Gobles, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Supposedly, a paranoid man in the 1980's built an underground bunker and hid himself and his family in it. At the peak of his madness, he killed them all, then himself, with a hatchet... thus spawning one of Michigan's most talked about urban legends. It is said shadow figures, glowing orbs and eyes, and other strange manifestations appear along the road where this man's bunker once was.
    3. Evidence Collected: No evidence was was collected.
  61. The “Stockbridge Hermit”
    1. Location: Unadilla State Wildlife Area (the "Stockbridge Hermit") [Gregory, Michigan]
    2. The Legend: It is said an old, deranged woman haunts the stretch of road adjacent to the Unadilla State Wildlife Area. Dubbed the "Stockbridge Hermit," she is said to scream and chase your car as you drive past.
    3. Evidence Collected: Surprisingly, we captured intriguing voices on our spirit box. In the same voice, we captured a female introduce herself as "ADDISON" and confirm that she is "HERE, PRESENT."
  62. Hell’s Bridge
    1. Location: Hell's Bridge (Algoma Township, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Supposedly, a man by the name of Elias Friske killed a bunch of schoolchildren, and when locals found out, hanged him atop a local bridge. According to the legend, his last words were that it wasn't him, but the devil itself that killed the children. To this day, the bridge he was hanged on, now referred to as "Hell's Bridge," is said to be haunted by children ghosts that manifest in the water; glowing eyes; and dark shadow figures atop the bridge and in the surrounding woods.
    3. Evidence Collected: Unexplained smell of lilac flowers; intelligent male voice communicating via spirit box; feeling of being touched after crossing the bridge; camera malfunctions and drainage.
  63. Maybury Sanatorium
    1. Location: Maybury State Park (Northville, Michigan)  👻
    2. The Legend: The Maybury State Park in Northville, Michigan lies on what was once the Maybury Sanatorium, built for tuberculosis patients in 1921. Though none of the buildings still stand, locals attest the lost souls who passed through the sanatorium remain.
    3. Evidence Collected: Shadow figure seen; extremely intelligent and relevant spirit box voices, engaging in conversation, saying "I TOLD YOU," "SET IN STONE," "WE'RE KIDS," "BE PATIENT"
    4. Other Experiences: Feeling of being touched
  64. St. Lorenz Lutheran Church
    1. Location: St. Lorenz Lutheran Church (Frankenmuth, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: A spirit of a woman without legs is said to haunt this historic Frankenmuth cemetery.
    3. Evidence Collected: Unexplained equipment malfunctions; male voice heard, but not captured on audio; strange mist captured in Polaroid picture
  65. Pere Cheney
    1. Location: Pere Cheney (Crawford County, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: Once a booming lumber town, Pere Cheney is now abandoned, literally a ghost of what it once was. Though the town itself is gone, its former cemetery is known by many as one of the "most haunted" places in Michigan. Growls, voices, and shadows are common reports.
    3. Evidence Collected: Tons of EVP's were captured, including a creepy male voice as soon as Ben begins to provoke; a unexplained child's size shoe print mysteriously appeared on our car; intelligent spirit board communication
    4. Other Experiences: shadow figure seen
  66. Union-Udell Cemetery
    1. Location: Union-Udell Cemetery (Ypsilanti, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: Strangely, this cemetery has the same exact legend as Soop Cemetery, which is a mere 8 minute drive away. The western is: are both cemeteries actually haunted, or are people just mixing up the locations?
    3. Evidence Collected: We felt a palpable sadness as soon as we entered the cemetery, and documented intelligent EMF spikes in response to questions. According to the legend, the spirit there is named "Elizabeth," but were unable to verify this during our EMF questioning. It appears there may be something at the cemetery, just not what the legend states.
  67. North Adams Road
    1. Location: Hillside Cemetery and North Adams Road (Addison, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: A little girl is said to have tragically been hit by a car while waiting for a bus on North Adams Road. Now she is said to wander, lost and not knowing she's dead, both along North Adams Road and in Hillside Cemetery where she's buried.
    3. Evidence Collected: We caught two potential disembodied voices; plus an EVP that sounds like somebody humming. Could these sounds be paranormal?
  68. McCourtie Park
    1. Location: McCourtie Park (Somerset Center, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: A mysterious "lady in blue" is said to roam the park's historic bridges at night. No one knows who she is, but rumors are that she could be from the Underground Railroad which supposedly ran through the park. The park's disc golf course is named after this apparition, thus it seems the park embraces the legend.
    3. Evidence Collected: We caught a mysterious whisper on camera; a potential female voice; two bizarre EMF spikes; our new Parascope device detected static energy fluctuations on one of the park's bridges.
  69. Oakwood Cemetery's "gravity hill"
    1. Location: Oakwood Cemetery (Farmington Hills, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: This is one of Michigan's most talked about "mystery spots," likely due to it being in a cemetery. Legend has it if you put your car in neutral at the bottom of the cemetery's hill, the ghosts will push your car back upwards.
    3. Evidence Collected: We were able to DEBUNK this legend as a mere illusion. The lack of horizon lines make you think the hill is going down, but it's actually going up. No paranormal activity was documented.
  70. Striker Cemetery
    1. Location: Striker Cemetery (Hastings, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: Originally used to dispose of bodies from the town's old hospital, this creepy cemetery feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. And to add to the already isolated and eerie vibes, it's supposedly haunted. We were joined by Paranormal XL, a team that's investigated the cemetery before. Supposedly, a "beast" is said to roam the graves, as well as the woods surrounding the cemetery. EVP's are commonly reported, as are apparitions.
    3. Evidence Collected: a strange LAUGH caught on spirit box; faint female voice captured; a loud GROWL came out of nowhere, spooking some team members (could this have been "the beast"??)
  71. Dudgeon Swamp
    1. Location: Dudgeon Swamp (White Cloud, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: This is said to be Michigan's most haunted location... and it lives up to that reputation. Rumors of incest, murder, and insanity are supposedly the origins of this haunting. It's a crazy story with many twists and turns. For a more in-depth recounting of the history, we recommend listening to this episode of "So Dead" that covers the case: https://www.sodeadpodcast.com/podcasts/ep49
    3. Evidence Collected: Multiple light anomalies and "orbs" captured, in three different instances on both video and Polaroid; insane EMF fluctuations on command and answering questions... literally the highest readings we've ever captured; impressive spirit board answers
    4. Other Experiences: male voice heard but not captured; overwhelming feeling of unease and chest pains
  72. Riverbend Natural Area
    1. Location: Riverbend Natural Area (Holt, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: The tragic murder of Jeanette Kirby (click here for more in-depth information) has led to countless reports of paranormal activity in these woodsy trails. Paranormal group GTI has caught dozens of impressive EVP's that they think may be Jeanette; we investigated to see if these claims can be validated.
    3. Evidence Collected: highly impressive Parascope responses, a device that measures static energy in 360 degrees. It was an experience you'll need to see to believe, as the responses were highly intelligent and responsive.
    4. Other Experiences: faint voices heard, but not captured on camera; multiple strange spirit box voices, one of which said "GO"
  73. The "shoe tree" in Bath, Michigan
    1. Location: A peculiar "shoe tree" (Bath, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: There are many dubbed "shoe trees" across Michigan. They are exactly as they sound: an old tree with a bunch of shoes unexplainably scattered within its sprawling branches. While most are a mere local oddity, some are actually said to be haunted, like this one in Bath. Locals report strange feelings in the area, as if they're being watched. Nobody knows how the shoe tree started.
    3. Evidence Collected: We do not believe this area to be haunted. We did capture a quick spirit box voice that sounds like it's saying "YOU GET BACK," but with no other activity or experiences documented, we can't label it as paranormal.
  74. Halmich Park
    1. Location: Halmich Park (Warren, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: This is a wacky one. Supposedly, a woman driving through the park felt like she hit someone... only to get out of her car and see no one there. Then, she witnessed a shapeshifting shadow figure. But as strange as this legend is, she's not the only one to experience something at the park. Locals report a general unease in the area at night, perhaps due to a homicide in the area.
    3. Evidence Collected: We surprisingly captured some interesting things. The camera light malfunctioned after a voice said "I'LL TAKE IT THIS TIME"; a female voice on spirit box said "HERE'S SOMETHING NEW... LISTEN TO YOURSELF"; intelligent EMF spikes that started and stopped on command, as well as in response to questions.
  75. Battle Alley Arcade Antiques
    1. Location: Battle Alley Arcade Antiques (Holly, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: The "Battle Alley" in Holly is one of the most historic (and haunted) stretches of road in all of Michigan. The Battle Alley Arcade Antiques is a large, two-story antique shop with more than a couple paranormal legends attached. All the reports are playful and benevolent, as the most common experiences are of a "ghost cat" (recently caught on camera!) and a child's voice being heard.
    3. Evidence Collected: Heard and documented a disembodied child's voice in the location it's most frequently experienced; impressive spirit box voices from a sarcastic spirit identifying itself as "MATTHEW"; unexplained headache/pressure on the second floor, though this could just be from the high levels of EMF that the lights were emitting. All in all, one of our most favorite investigations to date.
  76. South Lyon Hotel
    1. Location: South Lyon Hotel (South Lyon, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: Featured in several paranormal books, and even included on the Wikipedia list of haunted places in America, the South Lyon Hotel is a well-known haunted location in South Lyon, Michigan. Not only was the original hotel (it's now a popular restaurant) built atop a former cemetery, a catastrophic fire in 1977 is allegedly responsible for one of the building's ghosts, which they named "Omar." Another fire occurred in 2016, and in between the two events, an employee reported burning and bruising on her back; glasses would fly off shelves; strange noises and feelings reported by staff; and legless apparitions have been seen in bathrooms.
    3. Evidence Collected: We got a lot of impressive activity, all coming from the area around a fireplace made from the burnt bricks from the original hotel. Coincidence? We got unexplained EMF spikes; felt a cold spot; experienced strange pressure and draining of energy; documented six spirit box voices in the same male voice, most clearly stating "NOBODY MOVE," "PLEASE STOP," and "DON'T TEST ME"; and also documented an EVP saying "COME ON, THIS WAY" as soon as we look into a dark and empty room. This restaurant is a must-visit.
  77. Troy Union Corners Cemetery
    1. Location: Troy Union Corners Cemetery (Troy, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: This old and incredibly historic cemetery is one that trusted investigators have been to in the past, off camera, and experienced everything from disembodied voices to darting shadow figures. People are said to have picked up on a "male presence" and a general uneasiness coming from the back of the cemetery's older section.
    3. Evidence Collected: We received several intelligent spirit box voices in the back corner that people claim is the most active. It called out an investigator's name, "LISA," and when asked why, it clearly said "YOU'RE FUEL." Following this, we received off-the-charts EMF spikes around her, that fluctuated on command.
    4. Other Experiences: unexplained back pain; general uneasiness
  78. Howell Opera House
    1. Location: Howell Opera House (Howell, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: Walking into the Howell Opera House is like walking into a time capsule. The building is completely original, and one of the few remaining from its era here in Michigan. Reports include apparitions, visual anomalies in photographs, eerie feelings, and strange noises. Our team member Brianna has investigated there in the past, and recorded unexplained LAUGHTER and other disembodied voices.
    3. Evidence Collected: This is the only time we've ever captured the same voice both on spirit box and as an EVP. Watch here. We captured two separate EVPs of a deep male voice that we didn't hear in the moment. Unaware of this, when taking out spirit box, we capture that same male voice three more times using the device. This has never happened before or since.
    4. Other Experiences: unexplained temperature drop; sudden dizziness and lightheadedness; the feeling of someone walking behind you when coming down the balcony staircase
  79. Mount Hope Cemetery
    1. Location: Mount Hope Cemetery (Lansing, Michigan)
    2. The Legend: We wanted to do something special for Presidents Day, so we concentrated our investigation on the grave of Luther Byron Baker. He was the man that captured John Wilkes Booth; and the assassin died in his arms. The whole cemetery does have a general lore around it too, so we will have to revisit the site in the future for a more widespread investigation.
    3. Evidence Collected: Even with just a brief investigation of one of the cemetery's many historic graves, we caught a Class A spirit box response. Clear as day, it says "JOHN WAS SHOT AND KILLED." Not only was every syllable enunciated and between several sweeps, it is historically accurate. It's a great example of the intersection between history and hauntings that needs to be looked into further.
  80. Old Mill Museum
    1. Location: Old Mill Museum (Dundee, Michigan) 👻
    2. The Legend: The historic Old Mill Museum in Dundee, Michigan is one of the state's most talked about hauntings. The massive three story property has hundreds of local artifacts tied to the mill's impressive history. Henry Ford himself saved this mill, and his ghost is sometimes reported. The entire third floor of the museum is dedicated to local Native American history, which could explain the Native American spirit often seen throughout the museum named Little Tiger. Other spirits are said to haunt the creepy basement, including a young girl that was recently buried alive.
    3. Evidence Collected: We caught some of our most impressive evidence to date here. Not only did we hear and capture unexplained MOVEMENT and DISEMBODIED VOICES, we even captured two instances of potential POLTERGEIST ACTIVITY. Watch here.
    4. Other Experiences: Feelings of nausea; feeling something touch an investigator's head
